INFORMATION - BRAIN - THE HUMAN BRAIN

Human brain is a very complex structure. Functionally, it is even much more complicated than structurally.

People try to compare the brain with electrical circuit, sometimes with modern computer.

Just like electrical wiring, brain has multiple connections. An electrical circuit is made up of numerous wires connected to each other. Same way brain has different kinds of cells connected to each other by short and  long processes. Nerves are analogous to electrical wires.

Just like brain, computer has memory. Just like brain, computer does math and computations. Just like brain, computer reads and writes. Computer does so many things what brain does.

But there are so many differences between brain and electrical instrument or computer.

First, the force in an electrical instrument and in a computer is electro-mechanical while that in the brain is electro-chemical.

Computers do great jobs in computations, data processing, word processing; in memory storage and retrieving; in analyzing the information and reproducing the results.

But, brain is a brain. No one can bet the brain.

Even a little ant's brain takes decision which a largest computer can not take on its own.

Computers do not think, do not feel, do not judge. Thinking, Emotions, Decision making, Learning, Skill acquiring, Dreaming, Hormones producing, Bio-feedback, Balance, Coordination, etc. are not functions of computers.
